HISTORY

Our office was founded in Middletown over 65 years ago by George W. Palmer, OD and has remained true to his vision of treating our patients like family. The Palmer Eyecare Center with Jeffrey M. Palmer, OD, and Dorothy Robison Collins, OD, is the area's oldest, private optometric practice and family eyecare center.

OUR PLEDGE TO YOU

Our ongoing commitment is to always exceed your expectations. Whether we correct your vision problem with eyeglasses, contact lenses or LASIK/PRK laser correction, you can be assured that you will have the clearest, most comfortable vision attainable. We carefully search for signs of glaucoma, cataracts and other eye diseases and either treat the condition ourselves or refer to appropriate specialists for consultation and treatment. Some of the newest treatment technologies have to do with optimizing visual perception needed for appreciating the effects of 3D movies. http://www.3deyehealth.org

The foundation of comfortable vision is based on the precise measurements of the eye during an eye exam by the doctor, something NEVER delegated to a technician.

We take the time to carefully examine our patients and explain the results and treatment options to them. In an era when managed care is dictating speedy exams and cheap products, we've maintained our old-style, high quality doctor's office environment. Patients are assured that they are never rushed and their complete satisfaction is our goal.

For generations, patients have trusted our decisions and our products. We stand behind them unequivocally. For generations of families, we have been solving vision problems. Let our doctors now solve yours.
